"Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen"
This is a quote from Daring Greatly by Brene Brown. A book that I read after watching her TED talk on YouTube.

It has become a mantra for me when I am doing something courageous.
As I step into a gallery in the hope that they will take my art work, as I walk into a crowded room full of people that I have never met, as I stand before a class of children, an audience of adults, I whisper "dare greatly" and remind myself that "Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change."
My resolution this year is to show up and let myself be seen.
